Stacy Cushman Studio Gallery
Stacy Cushman lives and works close to the ocean drawing from the organic relationships between the earth, air, and water. Her work focuses on immersive installations to create abstracted three-dimensional visions of her encounters with these elements and how they possess time and space.
Most often using the wall as her canvas, Cushman hand-builds and individually paints, glazes, and fires the ceramic objects, then assembles them on walls, in site-specific environments, and still-life arrangements.
The current exhibition includes a series of sculptural works, lighting, fountains, and collages of porcelain shapes.

“One of my favorite pieces is an installation of 20 bronze, glazed ceramic bubbles by artist Stacy Cushman, which you encounter directly ahead of you when you enter the space,” he said. “They appear to be floating up from the corner of the room and immediately you know that this room has a sense of humor.”
